The fact they are convinced that not being accepted means they've been scammed is evidence of that lack of logical ability. It seems logical to me that DAT detected that problem, and it is for precisely that reason that they weren't accepted. DAT needs people who can thinking logically on a consistent basis.

I signed up through DataAnnotation.tech too, initially for a specific social media annotation project. For a while I didn’t get much else there at all and then qualifiers started showing up for better projects. The better tasks showed up either just before or just after I did the background check, though before it cleared.

If you submit your resume to get hired somewhere, I promise you that they always prefer to hire people who are working over people who aren't. If you apply for a job that's primarily computer-based, play up that aspect of the DA work. If you apply for a job that's more English-based (teaching, tutoring, etc.) play up that aspect of the job.
