The 1760 is a very simple, depndable planter. Easy to pull, easy to store, easy to maintain. The 1770 will be a very good planter as well. More power to pull, will require a significant amount more hyd capacity, more complicated to maintain BUT its twice as wide. You will be fine either way.I've seen the problem worse on Deere's 1780 style planter with the longer hitch on the 6/11 or 8/15 planters causing more side pressure on turns.
